PROGRESS REPORT #2 FOR SECRET OF HEATHCOTE MANOR

 I'm finally able to report that the manuscript for Secret of Heathcote Manor is now out on submission with several leading publishers. The opportunity to have my work read by top drawer editors is something which I didn't have prior to signing with my literary agent.

As this is new territory for me, I'm unable to say how long it will take to have the work accepted for publication. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it won't be too long.

MISSED OPPORTUNITIES

When I completed my MS I was in no doubt that I had a good story with an interesting premise. However I knew something was lacking and was so close to my own work I couldn't see what it was.Over the past few days I have read the editorial report in conjunction with the annotated MS my editor returned to me. I can see that I missed quite a few opportunities for some really tense drama. Now the blinkers are off and I am raring to go again.
